quantity surveyor
Responsibility
- developing commercial and procurement strategies to deliver costs within budgets
- drafting of complex contract arrangement and appropriate terms of engagement
- build and maintain working relationships with the supply chain and clients
- compliance with NGEN governance, policies, and procedures
- preparation of budgets and forecasts and accurate financial reporting of performance
- cost estimation of projects
- measurement of quantities and pricing of work as required
- identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change
Requirements
- A competitive salary starting from £50,000 per annum
- car allowance
- 40 hours per week, based in Leeds with travel to sites and hybrid working
- minimum of 10 years Quantity Surveying or otherwise appropriate experience
- up to 10% bonus
- previous experience in either Gas, Utilities, Civil Engineering, M&E or Renewable Technology is preferable
- must work well with others and form strong relationships within the team
- stakeholder pension scheme
