Responsibility

  • source new items and identify potential suppliers to diversify and expand our product offerings
  • analyse margins to ensure profitability and make data-driven decisions regarding product selection and pricing
  • monitor supplier quality control performance to uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality products
  • generate reports and conduct data analysis to drive informed purchasing decisions and strategy
  • track and manage suppliers' production timelines to ensure timely delivery of products
  • oversee product and brand control, including managing packaging, descriptions, and compliance with regulations
  • develop and implement sourcing and supplier management strategies to optimise operations

Requirements

  • proven negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • highly organised with strong planning, multitasking, and workload prioritisation abilities
  • commercial awareness and the ability to make informed decisions to benefit the business
  • analytical and process-oriented thinker, with strong numerical skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, including identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing them
  • previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles is preferred
  • effective communication skills, both written and verbal
