Responsibility

  • my Life Choice is a specialist care provider for people with Autism and learning disabilities across the UK
  • we are currently seeking a highly motivated Service Manager to join our team
  • the Service Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our clients care provisions
  • managing the care planning process for our residents, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation
  • promoting a positive and supportive work environment for staff, demonstrating effective communication, leadership, and management skills
  • ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards of care
  • maintaining accurate and thorough records of all activities related to the client
  • we pride ourselves on providing excellent person-centred care and enable our clients to live as independently as possible in their own accommodation

Education

  • diploma of Higher Education

Requirements

  • NVQ/Diploma minimum level 4
  • have sound knowledge of person centred care and Positive Behaviour Support
  • minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a care setting supporting people with learning disabilities
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven experience in managing a care team
  • knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
  • ability to work independently, as well as being a team player
  • leadership: 3 years
