Responsibility
- my Life Choice is a specialist care provider for people with Autism and learning disabilities across the UK
- we are currently seeking a highly motivated Service Manager to join our team
- the Service Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our clients care provisions
- managing the care planning process for our residents, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation
- promoting a positive and supportive work environment for staff, demonstrating effective communication, leadership, and management skills
- ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards of care
- maintaining accurate and thorough records of all activities related to the client
- we pride ourselves on providing excellent person-centred care and enable our clients to live as independently as possible in their own accommodation
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- NVQ/Diploma minimum level 4
- have sound knowledge of person centred care and Positive Behaviour Support
- minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a care setting supporting people with learning disabilities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proven experience in managing a care team
- knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
- ability to work independently, as well as being a team player
