Requirements
- ability to be able to work as a team member but also independently
- have an understanding of “running” a home and therefore ability to understand maintenance issues and their solutions
- strong communication skills via email, telephone, text and face to face
- good interpersonal skills to work with tenants, landlords, contractors and, of course, the Home Truths team
- good time management and organisation skills, and
- full driving license and access to a car during working hours
Responsibility
- carry out inventories at the start of a tenancy
- arrange gas safety certificates, electrical checks and alarm checks
- carry out pre check out inspections against the inventory
- co-ordinate repairs of maintenance issues raised by the tenants, identified during inspection and identified after check out in readiness for a new tenancy, and
- the focus of this role is to ensure all the rental properties are maintained to a high standard on behalf of the landlord and to be fully compliant with legal requirements
- undertake regular inspections against the inventory and report to the landlord
- carry out final inspections following check out and co-ordinate deposit release as appropriate
