fashion designer
Responsibility
- deliver balanced and extensive design research e.g. using directional shopping and fabric fairs to create unique product lines
- conceptualize and develop compelling women wear collections that align with brand aesthetics and market trends
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production and marketing to ensure cohesive brand representation
- monitor and evaluate the commercial potential of designs within own area and can articulate key shapes and volume lines
- responsible for creation of concept board/packs for design presentation
- liaising with peers within the buying and merchandising teams to fully support the overall delivery of a profitable and commercial range
- take ownership of categories, ensuring your product is available for all look books, campaigns and ecommerce shoots
- market research
Requirements
- the ideal candidate will come from a fashion store operations background and will have a minimum 3 years senior management experience
- you must be pro-active in your approach, able to think on your feet and flexible to work around business needs
- you will also need to be physically
- you must be confident at following directions and happy to spend time on the road
