Responsibility

  • be cheerful and friendly at all times, properly dressed, clean and tidy. Always stand to greet residents and visitors
  • call Taxi's for the residents or their visitors as may be requested
  • during the course of your shift check all light fittings throughout the common parts and replace any blown bulbs
  • all porters are expected to cover for each other for holiday leave. When this is not possible the House Manager will arrange temporary porters
