Requirements

  • capability to technically lead large programmes of work or lead multiple smaller projects concurrently
  • demonstrable experience of designing machinery, manufacturing equipment or products
  • experience in leading and/or managing groups of engineers as well as a willingness to develop in this area
  • knowledgeable of appropriate Design engineering Validation and substantiation, and use of Engineering controls appropriate to the project to deliver to customer requirements
  • degree educated holding one of the following: BSc, BEng, MSc, or MEng in an appropriate Engineering based subject

  • in December 2011, there were 16 industrial members, 44 staff and just a few key pieces of equipment in the ‘workshop’
