Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations
- follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- load and unload cargo as needed
- plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as necessary
Requirements
- valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- previous experience as a truck driver or delivery driver preferred
- knowledge of flatbed trucking and securement procedures is a plus
- ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in various weather conditions
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- excellent communication and customer service skills
