Responsibility
- conduct research to extend and update Mslexia’s databases, to develop lists for targeted communications to potential audiences and marketing partners
- identify new clients for sales of advertising space and insert bookings, and explore how Mslexia can meet their needs
- handle the timely booking, recording and dispatch of outgoing adverts for the magazine and other products
- record all activity on Mslexia’s databases to ensure a continuity of information for future campaigns
- with the M&S Manager, meet targets by selling advertising space in the magazine, newsletter, website and social media platforms, and bookings for inserts for distribution with the print magazine
- represent Mslexia as and when required at literary events
- with the M&S Manager, develop relationships with likeminded literary and arts organisation for reciprocal advertising and inserts sales opportunities, to increase exposure of Mslexia publications and products
- reflect in all dealings with the public Mslexia’s respect for women writers, whatever their skill, status or background
