• all work is self employed
• must have full driving licence
• digging trenches and excavating areas for construction projects

• main duties will be to assist in gas network operations which will include assisting a machine operator to excavate ground safely to disconnect old gas pipes to replace with new pipework
• assisting with the installation and repair of underground utilities, such as water and gas pipes
• no skills are required as long as you are willing to work and learn there is good access to training in the gas industry
• operating hand tools and power equipment, such as jackhammers and compactors
• must be willing to work away from home for 2/3 months a year but only monday to friday. all costs covered plus bonus
• assisting with the pouring and finishing of concrete
• follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Requirements

• previous experience in construction or manual labor preferred, but not required
• ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
