Responsibility
- unloading/loading of all deliveries and collections within the goods inward, despatch and warehouse department, supporting Kitting area when required
- contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives, making recommendations on changes where a benefit can be identified
- helping to maintain a tidy and organised warehouse working environment
- always demonstrate respect, integrity, trust and excellence in interactions with all colleagues, customers and suppliers
- preparing sub-module items for use in the assembly of machines ensuring that the correct quantity of items is selected/picked and that stocks are replenished as appropriate
- preparing goods for transportation/despatch by ensuring they are clean and fit for delivery, applying protective wrapping and palletising goods therefore guaranteeing product preservation
- carrying out administrative tasks to ensure accurate information is available eg on “kits”, stock levels and orders, scan delivery notes, adding BOMs to the system for kitting
- experience of preparing and packing goods/materials for transport
Requirements
- warehouse experience: 1 year
- forklift certificate
