- report immediately to your line manager or designated person any defects in equipment or the working environment
- take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work
- bootle L20: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
Responsibility
- to be part of a team in providing support for Service Users with enduring mental health problems and, or, learning difficulties within the Community in line with the individual’s person centred plan
- to develop a good working relationship with the Service User and, when appropriate, use their families, friends and advocates
- undertake direct tasks and participate in shift patterns as required
- undertake any reasonable tasks related to the provision of support as required by the Line Manager
- to assist with the planning and co-ordination of the delivery and support services to Service Users ensuring that personal, physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs are met
- to ensure that the service provides opportunities for Service Users to exercise determination and choice and to participate in the life of a wider community
- any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Line Manager
- to comply with the General Social Care Council Code of Conduct for Social Care Workers. To ensure that the personal dignity of all Service Users is upheld and respected
