Responsibility
- stripping and fitting panels
- carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methods
- pulling out dents with aid of pin puller, slide hammers, miracle pulled, jig and panel beating hammers
- completing minor and major filler work on the panels
- supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
- training bodyshop trainee staff
Requirements
- strong knowledge of panel repair techniques and equipment
- proficient in welding and metal shaping
- attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater
- physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- full UK Driving Licence
- excellent customer service skills to interact with clients
- willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed
