Requirements
- you will have relevant debt recovery experience, preferably within a legal environment or within a debt recovery agency
- paralegal qualification in either Debt Recovery Practice or Civil Court Practice or be willing to work towards this qualification
- IT and database skills
Responsibility
- correspond with clients, on all standard queries
- issuing pre-legal action letters and updating the client
- correspond with client and debtor throughout the recovery process
- update the case plan database system to record process
- ensure documents are scanned and all administration is done efficiently
- assisting with monthly and quarterly reports as required
- all whilst working under close supervision of your manager or mentor
- carry out diligence for the client, which may include liaising with debtor to agree payment, instructing enforcement including charge for payment, arrestment, attachment and inhibition, or sequestration
