Responsibility
- perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal components
- fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints or technical drawings
- use hand tools and power tools effectively to shape and assemble materials
- conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations
- collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
- troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process
Requirements
- proven experience in welding, particularly MIG/MMA welding
- mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings
- proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks
- familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous
- basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
