Responsibility
- this will be a mixture of inbound and outbound activities as required
- converting customer contacts into sales against revenue targets
- working proactively with your peers and the Sales Manager to consistently analyse and improve your overall sales effectiveness against targets
- maximising profit per order by cross-selling / upselling at every opportunity without diminishing the overall customer experience
- effective use of company systems and processes
- effective handling of all sales related customer calls, live chats, emails, and social media interactions to ensure a minimum of 80% of your time is spent on direct sales activities
- responsible for keeping up to date with products and competitors and sharing this knowledge with the team
- whilst not personally responsible for sales administration and customer services, you will act always in the best interests of the customer and the business and recognise that you will need to assist in these areas as situations dictate
Requirements
- relevant experience in a sale orientated environment
- proven record of accomplishment of achieving sales targets
- excellent and positive written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally
- commercially astute with good numeracy skills and an analytical approach to improving sales outcomes
- good IT skills with a knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 products
- excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- flexibility and adaptability to change is crucial
