warehouse supervisor

Responsibility

  • approximately 48 hours which will be covered over a period of 6 nights - Sunday-Friday nights
  • to manage and pick products
  • to carry out an accurate and reconciled stock count daily in order to minimise wastage
  • manage costs to budgeted levels and ensure that replenishment team have accurate stock figures
  • comply with various procedures relating to quality and processes
  • work as part of the Centre team to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled and correct stock levels maintained
  • ensure the product areas, outside environment / yard areas and Vehicles meet the Company's cleanliness standards at all times
  • to ensure all Products from suppliers are stored, distributed and comply with MQS procedures and all Food Hygiene regulations

Requirements

  • must hold a Full UK Driving Licence appropriate to the vehicle type
  • maximum 6 points on driving licence accepted
  • must be comfortable working alone and able to work nights
  • ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Responsibility

  • 5 Nights per week – Monday – Friday 40 hours per week/ Finish
  • bulk delivery of milk and dairy products to commercial and retail premises
  • all deliveries to be made within the designated time slot
  • all deliveries are expected to be made in a timely manner and logged appropriately on the ERB
  • the role involves loading and unloading the vehicle and liaison with Centre Operative to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled
  • ensure that all communications with customers are undertaken in a highly professional and competent manner

  • also advise on Intellectual Property, Employment, Regulatory Affairs and Property law if possible
  • assist with drafting, review and negotiation of various commercial contracts and agreements, identifying risks and mitigation
  • oversee the business’ standard and template legal documentation, reviewing it regularly and supporting training staff on correct usage
  • assist compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the business and advise on company secretarial matters
  • assist with provision of accurate, relevant and timely advice on general contract and commercial legal topics that relate to the business and its products

  • extensive experience in an IT environment. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / logistics company would be ideal

  • being good at listening and understanding a technical issue to provide clear, unambiguous feedback

  • fleet Management – Assist the centres in all aspects of managing their fleet including, VOR, Fleet movements, Cost controls, Repair standards and Supplier Management
  • health & Safety – Perform all duties in a safe manner. Work in partnership with the Milk & More H&S Team and centres to ensure that all staff are working in the safest way possible
  • operational Processes – Support the implementation and improvement of all operational processes and procedures. This includes demonstrating new equipment and processes to Centre Management
