Responsibility

  • good clinical knowledge is important around creating and updating care plans, risk assessments, staff training and meeting resident's needs
  • A good understanding of quality assurance and audits needed to ensure a high quality of service is being provided
  • we are looking for a competent and experienced Home Manager to work in our Nursing Home in Wroughton, Swindon. We provide care for up to 21 adults who may live with or without dementia and do so in a safe, friendly and homely environment
  • you will be registered with CQC and take responsibility of managing all aspects of the home with support from your fellow colleagues
  • time management is important, good knowledge of CQC regulations, the day to day running of a care home and marketing and networking knowledge

Requirements

  • NVQ/QCF Level 5 or working towards
  • experience of supporting people living with dementia
  • experience of Nursing
  • experience of working with adults over 65
  • occasional working unsociable hours to understand all aspects of the home
