Working hours

  • part-time

Responsibility

  • responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients for all bookkeeping and accounts processing services
  • preparation of accounts to trial balance, which includes journals, prepayments and accrurals
  • we are a small business offering business services, mostly accounting and bookkeeping services, to small owner managed businesses and sole traders
  • preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
  • we would like to hire someone to take on the bookkeeping work for a small portfolio of clients
  • bank reconciliation, purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • the majority of the bookkeeping work will be in xero

Requirements

  • at least five years experience in bookkeeping
  • have experience in cloud accounting systems
  • the ability to work quickly and methodically with an eye for detail
  • have an interest and passion in helping small businesses and willing to go that extra mile to support our clients
  • ability to manage your own time and work solely with minimum supervision
  • have a positive can-do attitude, be personable and be a people person
  • this is a part time role, starting off with 6-8 hours a week which will increase with demand
  • please note that this is a remote working position
