warehouse manager
Responsibility
- manage and lead a small growing team of warehouse staff, including training and performance management
- optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency
- coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- collaborate with other departments, prioritise, action and delegate tasks to ensure timely dispatch of B2B and D2C orders
- monitor and manage inventory accuracy with regular stock takes, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- responsibly for all consumables ordering for the warehouse
- recruit, select and on-board new warehouse staff
Requirements
- proven experience in a warehouse management role, with excellent leadership skills
- experienced Forklift driver, with current Reach Truck license, or willingness to have up to date training to renew a license
- strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- ability to manage and process multiple tasks simultaneously
- knowledge of health and safety regulations for a warehouse environment
- effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and encourage and motivate with a positive nature
- this is a physical role with some heavy lifting and manual work
- we will require 2 professional references
