Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- complete and submit quarterly VAT returns, monthly PAYE returns and main point of contact for HMRC
- production and presentation of monthly Management Accounts for review by management
- processing of weekly Payroll, as well as maintaining company pension scheme, holiday, and sick leave for all employees
- managing and maintaining several email accounts in Outlook Office 365
- maintain purchase ledger; processing purchase invoices, organising, authorising, and running mid-month and month-end payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers through answering email queries and phone calls
- maintain sales ledgers; Daily checking and uploading all sales invoices on our booking system. Create sales invoices, run weekly debtors’ reports, chase overdue payments
- daily monitoring of banking accounts. Review and maintain Bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts - expenses and company credit card payments
Requirements
- ideally AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified or part qualified
- working knowledge of accounting software Sage
- experience of using Payroll and Pension software
- familiar with Outlook Office 365
