restaurant supervisor
Responsibility
- greet customers upon entering the restaurant offering advice and guidance on menus/how the restaurant operates
- offer a positive customer experience through being approachable and friendly to all customers
- meet and greet customers at the entrance when needed and offer advice on the best dining solution for their needs
- answer any menu related questions pertaining to ingredients and allergens
- take customer orders when required
- communicate orders to the kitchen team via tills including any specific requirements
- support the Restaurant Manager with the daily operation of The Restaurant; ensuring all staff are assigned to relevant duties considering breaks and holidays to fulfil customer needs
- act as a point of escalation where Restaurant Assistant team are unable to support customers with complex queries/complaints
Requirements
- experience working in a fast-paced environment
- great communication skills with the ability to work well with a team
- experience working in hospitality or retail
- coaching and leading a team
- dealing with complex customer queries
- supervising experience: 1 year
- restaurant management: 1 year
- bar management: 1 year
