Requirements
- experience in flooring sales or as an estimator
- strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards is advantageous but not essential
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read and interpret floor plans, layouts, and construction plans, training will be provided
- self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- customer service: 1 year
Responsibility
- meet with new and existing customers to assess their flooring needs and provide expert product recommendations
- measure spaces and accurately calculate material requirements for flooring projects
- prepare and present detailed estimates, including costs for materials, labor, and installation
- maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities
- collaborate with the installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- stay current with industry trends and new product offerings to better serve customers
- provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales and estimation process
- making sure the store is merchandised correctly and presentable
