Responsibility

  • analysis of Client Records
  • liaising with client to obtain any missing/unclear information, seek explanations and challenge client assertions
  • to ensure you record all accounting adjustments required to produce financial accounts and tax returns
  • ensure the correct disclosure of items in the accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
  • reconciliation of all control accounts
  • highlight any transactions for review where the correct treatment is unclear considering tax implications
  • maintain and update client system notes covering your areas of responsibility as and when necessary
  • preparation of business tax computation and or/return and personal tax computation and/or return for business owners
