Responsibility

  • diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, utilising diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately
  • conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess overall condition and identify potential issues that require attention
  • complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
  • maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles, including parts used and labour hours
  • stay up to date with advancements in automotive technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently and safely
  • work with other members of the service team to prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively

Requirements

  • fully qualified vehicle technician
  • 5 years mechanical experience
  • strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
  • must hold a clean driving license
