Responsibility
- carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections of Plant so all equipment is safe and ready for hire
- inspect all plant when returned to depot and inform the worksop Manager if there are any damages and/or items missing
- carry out repairs and breakdowns to fleet items on site as and when required
- carry out service and repairs to customers own equipment as and when required
- keeping mobile plant vehicle clean
- inform manager of stock to keep frequently used items readily available
- early starts or late finishes may be required depending on what jobs/breakdowns happen on a day-to-day basis
- carry out routine/periodic services to fleet items. Carry out repairs to fleet items and inform the Workshop Manager of costs e.g., parts used, labour time and charges
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant Mechanics
- full UK driving license
- confident and friendly customer service
- ability to work in a team
- positive, can-do attitude
- experience with the delivery of plant
