Responsibility
- miriad Products Ltd are a forward thinking, fast growing company currently operating in the B2B market place
- to help with the continued growth and following an internal restructure, we are looking to recruit two warehouse shift managers
- ensure that all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet trucks are properly maintained and in good working order
- agree a preventive maintenance schedule to avoid equipment failure, which can lead to product damage or workplace accidents
- as a Warehouse Shift Manager, you’ll be required to work within our warehouse in an environment were operating efficiently under pressure and at pace will be a fundamental aspect of the role
- in this role you will primarily manage with a hands-on approach to deliver the day-to-day requirements of the warehouse goods in, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- supervise all warehouse activities, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner.The Warehouse Shift Manager should ensure that proper procedures are in place and followed to handle goods with care and maintain the integrity of the product.They must have knowledge of the entire warehouse operation and monitor its overall efficiency
- responsible for ensuring that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched according to established policies and procedures.They must also ensure that all materials and products are properly labelled, accounted for, and accurately tracked throughout the entire process
Requirements
- experience in a logistics or warehousing operation with proven and demonstrable people management experience
- good working knowledge of SAP Business One
- experience leading a high performing team
- hold or be willing to work towards a counterbalance and VNA certification
- be a strong communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 award in leadership and management
- experience of Six Sigma/ 5S principles
- ability to produce comprehensive reports and able to analyse data
