Responsibility
- preparing formulations for testing and experimentation
- preparing and carrying out straightforward experiments
- carrying out basic interpretation of data / test results and presenting findings accurately
- maintaining accurate records and drafting routine documentation
- may be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory with activities such as purchasing of consumables, waste removal, etc
- planning of own work schedule to meet goals and milestones but refers to more senior colleagues
- carrying out a range of tasks to time and quality requirements, working within established routines or procedures, but with minimal direct supervision
- resolving of routine work problems independently, referring more complex problems to senior colleagues
