Responsibility
- delivering the seasonal print trends; balancing fashionability and commerciality, whilst always aligning them with the brand handwriting
- creating colour boards for print colouration to be used across prints, constantly reviewing these to ensure they stay relevant
- preparing for design brainstorms, collating mood boards to illustrate new trends and print ideas for move-ons
- interpreting trends and developing prints without infringing copyright, design rights or trademarks
- ensuring you design a balanced range of prints, across colour, categories, style and technique. Ensuring that there is a mixture of graphic and painted prints
- working with the wider Design and Buying team to ensure choice and newness is offered in print as well as potentialising best sellers; identify and address missed opportunities
- supporting preparation for range builds, pulling relevant samples, hangers and strike offs together
- supporting the wider Design team by sharing responsibility for the organisation and upkeep of the studio
