Requirements
- HNC in architectural technology or an engineering related discipline
- excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team player are essential for this role
- ideally someone who has just finished university and wants experience within the automation world
- work to deadlines
- experience with 2D and 3D CAD software is beneficial
Responsibility
- take sketches & design descriptions and turn them into working designs
- develop 2D and 3D CAD layouts
- undertake occasional site surveys
- attending design meetings
- use MDM manuals and the relevant design documentation to draw up solutions that meet the relevant design standards
- manage and maintain the project environment on the server
- maintain document registers to keep track of what information has been issued and received
- work with the wider design team to coordinate designs
