  • maintaining Mechanical Equipment
  • restoring Mechanical Components to Usable Condition by Repair
  • carrying out Planning Maintenance on Mechanical Equipment
  • complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements
  • using Engineering Drawings and Documents in Maintenance Activities
  • working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering
  • working with the use of workshop equipment such as milling machines and lathes
  • setting up and adjusting machine tools and equipment

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or Maintaining Mechanical Systems
  • apprentice Indentures in a Mechanical Engineering Discipline
  • demonstrable experience of work carried out to that level
  • work in accordance with Company procedures
  • ensure that the working to correct method statements, work procedures and Safe Systems of Work
  • carry out regular point of work risk assessments
  • report incidents, hazards, unsafe acts, defects and suggest improvements
  • report any other concerns related to safety, health, welfare, quality, environment, or HR
