- maintaining Mechanical Equipment
- restoring Mechanical Components to Usable Condition by Repair
- carrying out Planning Maintenance on Mechanical Equipment
- complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements
- using Engineering Drawings and Documents in Maintenance Activities
- working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering
- working with the use of workshop equipment such as milling machines and lathes
- setting up and adjusting machine tools and equipment
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or Maintaining Mechanical Systems
- apprentice Indentures in a Mechanical Engineering Discipline
- demonstrable experience of work carried out to that level
- work in accordance with Company procedures
- ensure that the working to correct method statements, work procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- carry out regular point of work risk assessments
- report incidents, hazards, unsafe acts, defects and suggest improvements
- report any other concerns related to safety, health, welfare, quality, environment, or HR
