- responsible for security procedures, opening and closing of the building
- monitoring and ensuring effectiveness and maintenance of security systems and equipment including C.C.T.V
- to carry out any special duties associated with the security of buildings controlled in the event of alarm conditions
- to ensure that gullies, drains, etc. are kept free from debris and that the site and grounds are litter free
- co-ordination for emergency procedures to ensure that the building is safely and effectively evacuated should the need arise
- to keep the skip/waste area in tidy condition
- preparation of standard duties to cover holiday periods, etc
