Responsibility
- responsible for managing and developing financial functions of the organisation
- responsible for providing advice, guidance and support on our financial functions across the organisation
- manage the organisation's payment processes, ensuring the correct authorisation and budget codes are supplied
- support and assist the management team in forecasting and budgeting
- prepare statutory annual accounts and submit quarterly VAT returns
- take an active role within the Students' Union management team ensuring collaborative work across the organisation to fulfill the strategic plan
- prepare and monitor the organisation's financial budgets and forecasts in consultation with the CEO and management team, including the preparation of monthly management accounts for managers
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- experience of working in a finance role
- experience of planning, preparing and monitoring budgets, as well as variance reporting --Experience of preparing management accounts
- experience of managing staff
- accountancy qualification
