Responsibility
- understand and follow Design Drawings and Process documents such as Procedures and Work Instructions
- to set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor
- to solder, wire bond and assemble semiconductor devices
- to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with the company's rules and policies
- to perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the detector is formed in accordance with the specifications
- to maintain and update the results related to various tests and inspection procedures conducted regarding the product specification
- to make sure that all the parts, labour, and other processes are progressing in order to meet customer delivery dates
- to implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the senior personnel, so that quality of products is maintained
Education
- A-Levels / Higher National Diploma/ Degree
- A level Maths/ electronics background
- physics or electronics background
- laboratory training/ experience useful
- science Degree 2:1 or equivalent
Requirements
- good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision alignment
- medical Research Markets across the World. Our Customers include NASA, CERN, The European Space Agency
- soldering experience
- los Alamos, INFN, GANIL, CEA, ITER and Universities across the UK including the University of Oxford and the
