MICRON ALUMINIUM DOORS is looking for employees for positions:

fabricator welder

  • fabricator welder

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • the successful candidate will be required to fabricate aluminium doors in a brand new, fully-fitted workshop
  • technical drawings will be issued, from which you will cut and fabricate aluminium extrusions to form premium aluminium doors
  • you will also be required to prepare the doors for painting by filling, sanding and grinding to achieve the desired finish
  • use of a pulse MIG welder will be required to assemble the doors as well as individual components as required, including some steel fabrication
  • use of the on-site paint booth will also be required

Requirements

  • MIG welding and fabrication
  • MIG welding experience essential
  • interpreting technical / engineering drawings to a high and precise standard
  • use of workshop tools and machinery
  • working to deadlines, ideally in a manufacturing environment
