Responsibility

  • place stock orders and oversee deliveries in accordance with Company procedure
  • carry out quarterly and / or weekly stock takes
  • action all promotions in a timely manner
  • liaise regularly with the Area Manager to keep him / her informed regarding the day-to-day running of the site and competitor activity
  • communicate Company information, policy and procedure updates etc to all employees via notice boards, staff meetings or any other appropriate means
  • ensure the safety of the premises and all personnel, cash, stock and property by complying with security procedures
  • carry out Sales Assistant / Supervisor duties as and when required in the interests of maintaining a high level of customer service
  • manage staff rotas to ensure that there is optimum cover available to run the site, and assume ultimate responsibility for keeping the site open should cover be unavailable
