Responsibility

  • undertake initial surveys and compile reports/ schedules of works
  • undertake site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work
  • manage claims/ projects to ensure they run on-time and within budget
  • maintain accurate records of expenditures and financial transactions
  • communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project managers in a professional manner regarding financial applications/variations
  • prepare CDM and other H&S documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity
  • developing & maintaining our reputation through developing business opportunities - quoting tenders

Requirements

  • proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools for estimating costs
  • effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and team members
  • good interpersonal skills are required for dealing with a range of customers including policyholders, clients and subcontractors
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • knowledge of Health and Safety, CDM roles and asbestos legislation
  • knowledge of current construction methods, materials, and regulations is advantageous
  • at least 2 years experience dealing with work of a similar nature, preferably within building surveying or project management
  • hold a valid driving licence to facilitate site visits and inspections as required
