Responsibility
- respond to, prepare and submit quotations in line with customer deadlines, using email, telephone or hard copy
- we are looking for someone to join our busy onsite sales team
- proactive management of workload to ensure maximum conversion of quotations into sales
- maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- deal with queries from customers and support face to face customer engagement where necessary
- strategically plan and manage your sales, stock logistics and customer service within the sales team
- ideally we want someone with Metal industry experience but we will consider someone who lacks experience but who is dynamic, driven and eager to learn with the desired qualifications
- you will be responsible for maintaining and building close relationships with key customers and suppliers in order to develop in-depth knowledge of your product range and understand new product developments and costs arrangements
Requirements
- qualification in business or similar type qualification
- good understanding of information systems and proven ability in the use of m/s office
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- be a problem solver
- be flexible and able to manage own time
- be eager to learn
- be a Logical thinker & ability to review issues from different viewpoints
- be able to priorities a varied workload to meet operational demands
