- phD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry
- at least 3 years of working experience performing laboratory research in an industrial setting or equivalent
- at least to 2 years of experience in team management or performance evaluation role
Responsibility
- assist the Sr. Manager of R&D in the execution of the R&D strategy for new product development
- provide technical leadership to the team, with independent troubleshooting abilities
- ensure timely delivery of projects according to the R&D pipeline
- responsible for efficient transfer activities associated with allocated projects to other business functions
- continuously monitor and suggest improvement for R&D processes
- ensure proper documentation and records of the experimental activities
- lead team projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment and coordinate activities and team members to ensure timely progress and update to company leadership
- prepare presentations and deliver research internally and externally
Requirements
- in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the development and troubleshooting of enzymatic or diagnostic assays
- hand-on experience in nucleic acid amplification techniques such as qPCR or LAMP
- demonstrable experience in team performance management
- hand-on experience in protein purification systems
- experience with statistical analysis and/or Design of Experiments methodologies
- prior experience with ISO13485
