Responsibility
- use a wide variety of measuring equipment to ensure results are accurate, reliable and repeatable at all times
- document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality tests in a clear and precise manner in line with company standards
- collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- conduct thorough quality inspections on precision engineered aerospace products, to identify defects or deviations from specifications
Requirements
- proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- programming of CMM machines
- strong GD&T skills
- use of High QA software
- ideally apprenticeship trained and/or with degree in an engineering discipline
- excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- ability to utilize a wide range of measuring equipment, including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, manual CMM machine and CNC CMM machines etc
