• answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries
• greeting customers on arrival and confirming the work required
• maintaining the workshop diary by booking-in jobs and confirming customer details

• providing quotations for potential costs when requested
• preparation of Job cards and ordering of parts
• keeping in contact with customers to provide updates on their cars
• assisting with the day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage 50 software
• previous motor trade experience would be preferable but not essential
