MELBRECK TECHNICAL RECRUITMENT is looking for employees for positions:
planner
Responsibility
- implementation and administration of the planning enterprise solution
- lead on planning activity and develop schedules whilst developing best practice in planning and reporting
- provide expert advice on planning for team members and the PMO function
- challenge and test project assumptions to ensure that plans are realistic and achievable
- support the project/programme manager to identify options to optimise delivery through resource smoothing, resource levelling and rescheduling of activities
- ensure clear translation of project requirements, constraints, and prerequisites within the programme schedules
- ensure that stakeholder responsibilities and needs are understood and addressed in reporting arrangements
- monitor and analyse information, reporting progress, slippage and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity
Requirements
- relevant degree within a technical, business or project management field
- experience either as a programme planner or a senior planner
- at least 3-5 years’ experience planning major projects within a technical environment
- expert in the use of Primavera planning tools and methodologies
- expert in the use of Microsoft Project planning tool
- strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to present technical and complex information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience
- ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment
