maintenance engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Part-time | Permanent

Responsibility
- carrying out planned maintenance schedule on HVAC & Food Plant Machinery equipment such as Multi Vac, Freemantle & Refrigeration
- carrying out routine safety inspections of equipment and machine start-ups
- carrying out reactive maintenance on Food Plant machinery such as water pumps, electrical sensors, seals etc
- ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained
- other general fabric maintenance such as plumbing & general electrical works
- dealing with external contractors alongside line manager where required
- sourcing the relevant parts/ materials
- supporting machine changeover and settings
Requirements
- electrically qualified
- engineering experience of food plant and machinery
- multi-skilled ideally with experience in fault finding and root cause analysis
- mechanically skilled to complete standard mechanical tasks
- mechanical and electrical experience with a range of food manufacturing equipment
- experience of carrying out PPM on HVAC plant- Ideal but not necessary
- experience carrying out general fabric maintenance- Ideal but not necessary
- maintenance: 2 years
