- basic O’ Level / GCSE Qualifications
- relevant experience in student accommodation blocks or similar
- desirable: H&S, First Aid Qualifications, Legionella, Repair and Maintenance qualifications
Responsibility
- ensure the smooth running of accommodation facilities, including the safety and wellbeing of the student residents
- develop and build positive relationships with student residents
- control a budget and finances, provide value for money solutions
- communicate with managing agent to coordinate and plan the allocation of accommodation and maintenance services
- liaise with other departments within the organisation
- arrange repairs and maintenance of the facilities
- inspect the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met, carrying out risk assessments as necessary
- supervise the work of cleaning staff and ensure standards are maintained
