Requirements

bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related role, including experience in a leadership capacity
strong knowledge of building systems and safety regulations. Electrical qualifications desirable
proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
proficiency in basic office applications
class 1 driving licence desirable

Responsibility

oversee and manage all facilities-related activities, including maintenance, repairs, fire alarm testing etc
lead, train, and mentor the facilities team, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of building systems
collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized projects and maintenance needs
manage facility budgets, monitor expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions
conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
coordinate emergency response and safety drills to ensure preparedness for any incidents
maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure that facility needs are met
