  • VAT return preparation / review
  • CRM System Management and ownership of client deadlines
  • accounting: 1 year
  • business Advisory work which is ad hoc in nature but fundamental to our commitment to provide excellent, proactive advice to all clients

Responsibility

  • we are a relatively new practice, and we are looking for a junior accountant to join the team of the founding directors, bookkeeping and support staff
  • experience of Xero / Quickbooks is preferred but not necessary as we can provide full training
  • the number of hours is flexible and we welcome applications from people able to commit to up to 3 days per week
  • this role would be well suited to a part qualified / newly qualified accountant looking to explore an interesting and exciting career in a unique practice, or an individual qualified by experience looking to expand their talents
  • due to the start up nature of our company, there is ample opportunity for career progression, and support will be provided for the right candidate to create a bespoke role around your interests and capabilities
  • the role will involve working across a number of accounting packages and communicating with clients, so we are looking for an individual who is numerate, articulate, and either already qualified or working towards qualification
  • we value life experience and welcome applications from individuals who may have other commitments
  • you will be working directly with the company founders to undertake accountancy work for our clients, as well as integrating your work with that of the bookkeeping and payroll team members to ensure client work is delivered like clockwork
