Requirements
- good level of competency with Microsoft Excel and measuring software
- strong mathematical ability to be able to quantify drawings and produce pricing documents
- the ability to multi-task under pressure
- good time management, attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- able to take initiative and propose creative solutions to problems
- experience in the construction industry is essential showcasing a desire to progress within the industry. Previous health and safety knowledge is preferred
- team player – collaborating with different departments and addressing challenges as they arise
- driving licence - as we are not located near reliable public transport links
Responsibility
- assisting our lead estimator with all tender enquiries, you will be working on multiple tenders at one time ensuring all tenders are submitted to the highest standard
- reviewing and completing comprehensive health and safety documents and tender requirement documents such as risk assessments, method statements, inspection test plans, quality management plans etc
- reviewing in house policies and procedures to ensure health and safety requirements are complied with and taking initiative to improve Mayfair’s standards
- sending queries and responding to client enquiries
- supporting the team with other tasks as required
- uploading technical submittals and dealing with post tender requirements to ensure we are prepared for commencement works
