- an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Practice Manager to join our team. This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week over 5 days to include weekend, bank holiday and evening working where required
- we are looking for someone to lead the strategic development of the veterinary services at Marwell Wildlife with responsibility for managing and developing the veterinary practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including controlled drugs and firearms, zoo licensing, animal welfare and other relevant legislation and best practice
- the successful candidate will have a track record of demonstrating empathetic management with significant experience of managing multifaceted teams and developing people

- applied understanding of relevant legislation and best practice, experience with managing budgets, resource management, ethical review and the application of value judgements
- experience in veterinary practice management, a relevant degree or VPM certification, and understanding of planning, policy development and leading projects would be desirable
- applicants must have clear and effective written and oral communication skills and be highly organised, with the ability to meet numerous demands working to tight deadlines
