Requirements

  • ability to read and interpret leases and tenants’ alterations proposals
  • knowledge of and understanding of Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
  • good understanding of landlord and tenant law and working knowledge of commercial property legal agreements
  • understanding of commercial and residential insurances and liaising with insurance brokers
  • instructing and managing local agents in lease renewals, lettings and rent reviews
  • instructing landlord’s solicitors on lease matters, assignments, sub-lettings and overseeing process to completion
  • handling day to day management matters that arise and communicating effectively with tenants and clients as necessary
  • commercial Surveying: 1 year

Responsibility

  • we are looking for an enthusiastic commercial property surveyor and MRICS/FRICS qualified to work alongside and support our head of professional and property management in this new permanent role
  • we are looking for an enthusiastic experienced surveyor and ideally MRICS qualified with minimum 5 years PQE to work alongside and support our head of professional and property management in this new permanent role
  • breadth of experience and knowledge and all-round property experience gained in the commercial real estate sector is crucial, together with excellent IT skills, and use of property management software
