Responsibility

  • prepare surfaces for painting
  • apply high-quality finishes to wooden boat structures, ensuring meticulous attention to detail
  • select and work with appropriate paints, varnishes, and finishes for marine applications
  • collaborate with boatbuilders to meet project timelines
  • maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety regulations
  • assist in the restoration of existing boats, preserving their historical integrity

Requirements

  • demonstrated expertise in painting techniques and materials specific to wooden boats
  • strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • minimum of 5 years experience as a painter and decorator, preferably in a marine or woodworking setting
